The Final Product

Open House was a huge success! Thank you for taking time to come visit. I enjoyed meeting each and everyone of you and I look forward to seeing you again on the first day of school. We are going to have a great year!!

Here is the final product on Open House night.

This is our calendar math board where we will practice time, money, months of the year, days of the week, problem solving, place value, measuring, addition/subtraction and counting. I can't wait to get to the 100th day of school so we can celebrate!

This clothesline is hanging over my desk to remind me of all of the wonderful students I've had the past few years.

We will study a little bit of Georgia history this year. This is probably one of my favorite things to teach because Georgia is always on my mind.

And my second favorite place in our country... NY! I dedicated our reading corner to this fabulous city.

And to end with a quote from one of my favorite childhood authors...
"The classrooms are waiting for the day to begin, all dusted and polished and neat as a pin. "
-The Berenstain Bears Go Back to School
by Stan and Jan Berenstain

See you on the first day of school!
